this shoot holds a special place in my heart. while i love all the shoots i do, i think this type of lifestyle shoot has something very special. when little lucy grows up and looks back on these photos, it will be an actual slice of her life, instead of posed photos in a studio. (don’t get me wrong, i love studio sessions too, but holding a session in your own home is extra special.) in your own home, you’re comfortable, you’re cozy, you’re more yourself. i hope that someday when lucy looks back, she sees how much her parents love her through these images.
