norah’s newborn session was a lesson in being flexible and using what’s available. my family and i were on a vacation in minneapolis when norah was born, so i didn’t have any of my regular newborn props, blankets, or equipment. i made a quick trip to a big box store in hopes of finding something to make a cute headband or two out of. while there, i found a little crocheted beret hat! i wasn’t sure if it was going to work, but as you can see from the photos below, she fit perfectly inside it. what i love is that normally i wouldn’t have looked twice at that hat as a newborn prop, but what they say about necessity being the mother of invention is correct! i used what i had, and i love how it turned out! enjoy the rest of norah’s session!
